Shanxi Zhongding Logistics Group Co., Ltd. was founded in 2013 with a registered capital of 2.0925 billion yuan. A joint venture of Daqin Railway and two local enterprises, it is a core logistics backbone enterprise in Shanxi Province. Its flagship project, Zhongding Logistics Park, opened in 2016. Located in the core area of Taiyuan Metropolitan Area and Shanxi Transformation and Comprehensive Reform Demonstration Zone, the park covers over 3,000 mu, with 14 dedicated railway lines and six functional zones integrating rail-road intermodal transport, container operations, railway port services and warehousing & distribution. The company’s main businesses include railway/road transportation, multimodal transport, China-Europe Railway Express and supply chain logistics. It has been accredited as a National Demonstration Logistics Park, National Multimodal Transport Demonstration Project and Five-Star Multimodal Transport Operator, underpinning Taiyuan’s designation as a land-port national logistics hub. Going forward, it will build a "corridor + hub + network" system, support the Belt and Road Initiative, and help Shanxi build a new highland for inland opening-up.
